Amy Diener will introduce you to the art of Mandala dot painting, through a hands-on approach that involves both watching her paint and creating your own work.

You don’t need special skills or be an amazingly talented painter to get great results. Our instructor will show you many tips and tricks so you will get the hang of it in no time!

During the session you will

- Observe Amy’s artwork live
- Learn the basics of how to make circular dots in various sizes through a demonstration
- Explore making dots individually with one on one guidance
- Learn how to organize the dots into mandala structures with a focus on positive and negative space along with scale to provoke depth and illusion of space through a demonstration
- Explore this mandala dot technique individually using canvas paper
- Be provided with a mini canvas to create a small mandala dot painting that you can take home and display!

Ms. Amy Diener is an international contemporary artist from New York specialicing in vibrant mandala dot paintings.
After receiving a degree in art education in New York, Diener moved to the lively city of Bangkok where she lives now.

Diener has showcased her paintings in the United States, Thailand, Singapore, and Germany. Diener. Her artwork was the cover story for Wanderlust: Expat Life & Style Magazine – Thailand (August / September 2015.)

Diener’s work was selected for the Saatchi Art “Making Faces: New Portraits” collection. Her artwork has also been featured in Bangkok Post, The Journal News (New York), Global Living, art4d.asia, Expat Life, Bangkok 101, Bangkok Asia City Guide, AngloInfo, and LeParisPhuket.
