I am Salita, a handmade skincare owner based in Bangkok.My soap and skincare production journey stemmed from repeatedly witnessing the abundance of toxic chemicals in all the daily products around us, be they soap, shampoo, face wash, or lotion. Unfortunately, we are stuck having to rely on them for daily life, yet so many of the most common ingredients are potentially linked to long term illnesses.I thought, “How can we trust if the products we use are truly safe for us, every single day?” Therefore, I embarked on a multi year journey to explore ingredients, herbs, medicines, and raw materials to learn how to make truly safe, nourishing soap and skincare.For 6 years, I carefully tested, tweaked, and adapted precise formulas for every item in my skincare line. Finally, I officially launched my 100% natural, handmade skincare line Canola Care, enjoyed by hundreds of loyal customers.Through my long experience of making soap, I can say that making good soap is not only about having a solid, well-rounded recipe, but also putting your own heart, journey, and soul into the process.
