Nine Typer

Hi, I’m Nine, the founder of Typer. Chaiwat Sriwilard, 24, taught himself to write calligraphy in February 2015. The visual communication design graduate from Silpakorn University took up calligraphy to impress a crush in a land far away. In the end, the crush didn’t return his affection, but she’d left him a greater gift. He didn’t know he would end up falling for the art form and quitting his job to teach others the craft. In a year, he found himself teaching the art of hand lettering to over 500 students. "Going out of my comfort zone has entirely changed my life path.
